Is my data uploaded to any server?+−
No. Everything runs entirely in your browser. After the detection model is downloaded the first time, your PDFs, text and images NEVER leave your device. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet after the model has loaded — the app will still work correctly!
What can I anonymize, and what personal data is detected?+−
You can anonymize PDFs, plain text and images. The app detects (among other things) names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, account numbers, dates, URLs, and other sensitive data such as API keys or tokens. You can even define yourself the data you want anonymized!
Which browsers are supported?+−
Practically all modern web browsers are supported. Note that the app works best / fastest on devices that have so-called graphics acceleration (dedicated graphics cards). Warning: the app may not work correctly on older mobile devices (phones, tablets) due to limited RAM and / or a weak processor (CPU).
Why is the first app launch (and model loading) slow?+−
The first app launch downloads and starts a dedicated detection model from the internet. After that it's saved in the browser's local storage, so later visits to the app are noticeably faster.
